typology definition

typology simply means “a system for arranging things in groups…” (Macmillan English Dictionary for advanced Learners (2007)). In this unit, the different texts to be translated are put in groups. For our purpose, we are going to treat only two groups. They are literary texts and technical and scientific texts. Technical and scientific texts are grouped together as one.
