Type A-2 definition

Type A-2 means a school bus with a gross weight rating between 14,500 and 19,500 pounds, and a passenger capacity not to exceed 36.

  • Type A quantity means a quantity of radioactive material, the aggregate radioactivity of which does not exceed A1 for special form radioactive material or A2 for normal form radio- active material, where A1 and A2 are given in Appendix O or may be determined by procedures described in Appendix O.

  • Type III transfer means that term as defined under Section 3(c) of the Executive Organization Act of 1965, 1965 PA 380, MCL 16.103.

  • Type II transfer means that phrase as defined under Section 3 of the Executive Organization Act of 1965, 1965 PA 380, MCL 16.103.

  • Centralized Message Distribution System (CMDS) means the industry-wide data collection system, which handles the daily exchange of message details between CMDS participating telephone companies (also known as CMDS Direct Participants). AT&T-21STATE is a CMDS Direct Participant.

  • Nursing home-type patients means a patient who has been in hospital more than 35 days, no longer requires acute hospital care, cannot live independently at home or be looked after at home, and either cannot be placed in a nursing home or a nursing home place is not available.

  • Land treatment facility means a facility or part of a facility at which hazardous waste is applied onto or incorporated into the soil surface; such facilities are disposal facilities if the waste will remain after closure.

  • Component System means, as of its relevant License Effective Date, each Listed System and each Support Function that is part of the Licensed System and, subsequent to a relevant License Effective Date, such Listed Systems and Support Functions as they may be changed as provided in subsection (b) of the definition of Licensed System.

  • Data Universal Numbering System +4 (DUNS+4) number means the DUNS number assigned by D&B plus a 4- character suffix that may be assigned by a business concern. (D&B has no affiliation with this 4-character suffix.) This 4-character suffix may be assigned at the discretion of the business concern to establish additional SAM records for identifying alternative Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) accounts for the same parent concern.

  • Category 3 means those affected lands and support facilities if those lands supported operations which were not completed or substantially completed prior to July 1, 1973 (the effective date of the Wyoming Environmental Quality Act) and any affected lands or support facilities taken out of use on or after July 1, 1973 and before May 25, 1975 (the effective date of the Division’s 1975 Rules and Regulations).

  • Checked Baggage means baggage of which the carrier takes sole custody and for which the carrier issues a baggage identification tag.

  • Category means a category set forth in the table in Section IV of Schedule 2 to this Agreement.

  • Centralized Message Distribution System (CMDS) means the transport system that LECs use to exchange outcollect and Carrier Access Billing System “CABS” access messages among each other and other Parties connected to CMDS.

  • Tier 2 means the portion of the design- related information contained in the generic DCD that is approved but not certified by this appendix (Tier 2 information). Compli- ance with Tier 2 is required, but generic changes to and plant-specific departures from Tier 2 are governed by Section VIII of this appendix. Compliance with Tier 2 pro- vides a sufficient, but not the only accept- able, method for complying with Tier 1. Compliance methods differing from Tier 2 must satisfy the change process in Section VIII of this appendix. Regardless of these dif- ferences, an applicant or licensee must meet the requirement in Section III.B of this ap- pendix to reference Tier 2 when referencing Tier 1. Tier 2 information includes:

  • Data Universal Numbering System+4 (DUNS+4) number means the DUNS number means the number assigned by D&B plus a 4-character suffix that may be assigned by a business concern. (D&B has no affiliation with this 4-character suffix.) This 4- character suffix may be assigned at the discretion of the business concern to establish additional SAM records for identifying alternative Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) accounts (see the FAR at Subpart 32.11) for the same concern.

  • Tier 3 Wire Centers are those Embarq Wire Centers that are not Tier 1 or Tier 2 Wire Centers.

  • Unchecked Baggage means any baggage (carry-on) accompanying the passenger other than checked baggage.

  • DS-1 A service having an absolute digital signal speed of 1.544 Mbps. DS-3: A service having an absolute digital signal speed of 44.736 Mbps. Duct: A pipe, tube or conduit through which cables or wires are passed. Dynamic 911: The provision of E911 service utilizing a call processing arrangement with pseudo ANIs for non call-path associated signaling and routing commonly associated with the delivery of mobile, nomadic or out-of-region calls. E911 Customer or PSAP Operator: A municipality or other state or local governmental unit, or an authorized agent of one or more municipalities or other state or local government units to whom authority has been lawfully delegated to respond to public emergency telephone calls, at a minimum, for emergency police and fire service through the use of one telephone number, 911. E911 or Enhanced 911 Service or E911 Service: A telephone system which includes network switching, database and PSAP premise elements capable of providing ALI data, selective routing, selective transfer, fixed transfer, and a call back number.
