Tutoring session means what it says but shall, depending on the situation, also mean another activity being presented by the Tutor online.
Tutoring session means assistance given by appointment to a single student or small group of students, often for pay, by someone who, at the time that they are rendering their services, is not in any way involved with the teaching of any section of the course in which the student or group of students is seeking help. Students receiving tuition waivers may have additional restrictions on offering paid tutoring sessions and should consult their department or program for guidance.

Examples of Tutoring session in a sentence
Late cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice) on any Tutoring session is charged at the full tutoring rate or any fraction thereof if time was to be shared with other student(s).
Tutoring session shall be one hour in length following the end of the regular workday.
Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, this Agreement shall give the Tutor the privilege to utilize the BookNook Platform (the “Platform”), and to receive the agreed upon fees for each class Tutor fully completes for eligible Students at partnering LEAs in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, and the parameters of the Tutoring session as specified by the LEA.
