Gray (Gy) means the SI unit of absorbed dose. One gray is equal to an absorbed dose of 1 joule per kilogram (100 rad).
Spring means a source of water where an aquifer comes in contact with the ground surface.
Swale means a shallow depression in the ground sloping to a place for disposal for the purpose of providing a method of drainage of surface water.
State Street means the relevant State Street entity performing services pursuant to this Agreement.
Plinth means the portion of a structure between the surface of the surrounding ground and surface of the floor immediately above the ground.
Graywater means untreated wastewater that has not been contaminated by any toilet discharge, has not been affected by infectious, contaminated, or unhealthy bodily wastes, and does not present a threat from contamination by unhealthful processing, manufacturing, or operating wastes. "Graywater" includes, but is not limited to, wastewater from bathtubs, showers, bathroom washbasins, clothes washing machines, and laundry tubs, but does not include wastewater from kitchen sinks or dishwashers. Health and Safety Code Section 17922.12.
Hall means a unit of residence or of corporate life for the students of the University, or of a College or an Institution, maintained by the University;
We/Us/Our means TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited.
Seaplane means an aeroplane capable normally of taking off from and alighting solely on water;
Loop or "Unbundled Loop" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9.2.1.
Riverine means relating to, formed by, or resembling a river (including tributaries), stream, brook, etc.
Raffle means a lottery in which the prize is won by (i) a random drawing of the name or
Green means products, materials, methods and processes certified by a “Green Authority” that conserve natural resources, reduce energy or water consumption, avoid toxic or other polluting emissions or otherwise minimize environmental impact.
Poppy straw means all parts, except the seeds, of the opium poppy, after mowing.
Rock means the body of consolidated or partially consolidated material composed of minerals at or below the land surface. Rock includes bedrock and partially weathered rock that is hard and cannot be dug with hand tools. The upper boundary of rock is "saprolite," "soil," or the land surface.
Squatter means a person occupying a dwelling unit who is not so entitled under a rental
Growler means any refillable, resealable container complying with federal law.
Crosswalk means that part of a roadway at an intersection included within the connections of the
Façade means the principal front or fronts of a building.
storey means that portion of a building which is situated between the top of any floor and the top of the floor next above it, and if there is no floor above it, that portion between the top of such floor and the ceiling above it.
Kerma or "K" means the quantity defined by the International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements. The kerma is the quotient of dEtr by dm, where dEtr is the sum of the initial kinetic energies of all charged particles liberated by uncharged particles in a mass dm of materials; thus K=dEtr/dm, in units of J/kg, where the special name for the units of kerma is gray (Gy). When the materials is air, the quantity is referred to as "air kerma."
SAM means the federal System for Award Management (SAM); which is the federal repository into which an entity must provide information required for the conduct of business as a recipient. 2 CFR 25 Appendix A (1)(C)(1).
EMMA means the Electronic Municipal Market Access system as described in 1934 Act Release No. 59062 and maintained by the MSRB for purposes of the Rule.
Shoreland means land, as defined in Minn. Stat. § 103F.205, subd. 4, located within 1,000 feet from the normal high water mark of a lake, pond, or flowage and 300 feet of a river or stream or the landward side of floodplain delineated by ordinance on such a river or stream, whichever is greater.
Bishop means the Bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Leeds in which the Academy Trust Company is situated (as defined in Canon law) and includes any person exercising Ordinary jurisdiction in his name (including Vicars General and Episcopal Vicars) and any person delegated by him, including officers of the Diocese;
LLP means a limited liability partnership as defined under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008;
