Transformation Facility definition

Transformation Facility means a facility whose principal function is to receive and manage Solid Waste through a non-landfill disposal process other than composting such as incineration, pyrolysis, distillation, gasification, or biological conversion.
Transformation Facility means a facility whose principal function is to convert, combust, or otherwise process solid waste by incineration, pyrolysis, destructive distillation, or gasification, or to chemically or biologically process solid wastes, for the purpose of volume reduction, synthetic fuel production, or energy recovery. Transformation Facility does not include a composting facility.
Transformation Facility means a facility that utilizes a transformation process as defined in Public Resources Code, section 40201 and is authorized to operate pursuant to division 30 of Public Resources Code (commencing with § 40000).
