Transacting definition

Transacting shall have a corresponding meaning;
Transacting means solicitation, negotiations pre- liminary to execution, execution of an insurance contract, transaction of matters subsequent to execution of the contract and arising out of it and insuring.

Examples of Transacting in a sentence

  • The Owner is a Transacting User Entity (as defined in the regulations of the International Registry); is “situated”, for the purposes of the Cape Town Treaty, in the United States; and has the power to “dispose” (as such term is used in the Cape Town Treaty) of the Airframe and each Engine.

  • To the extent that a Participant delegates its duties under this Agreement to a third party (by contract or otherwise) and such third party will have access to Message Content, that delegation shall be in writing and require the third party, prior to Transacting Message Content with any Participants, to agree to the same restrictions and conditions that apply through this Agreement to a Participant.

  • Because the Participants are limited to Transacting Message Content for only a Permitted Purpose, the Participants do not intend to become each other’s Business Associate by virtue of signing this Agreement or Transacting Message Content.

  • Prior to Transacting Message Content with other Participants, each Participant shall have executed this Agreement and returned an executed copy of this Agreement to the Coordinating Committee.

  • If a Participant desires to stop Transacting Message Content with another Participant based on the other Participant’s acts or omissions in connection with this Agreement, the Participant may temporarily stop Transacting Message Content with such Participant either through modification of its Participant Access Policies or through some other mechanism, to the extent necessary to address the Participant’s concerns.

  • Except as specifically stated in Article 7, neither party makes any express or implied warranty as to any matter whatsoever, including the conditions of the research or as to any Invention made or product developed, or the ownership, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, of the research or any such Invention or product.
