Training Rate definition

Training Rate means the number of construction apprentices and trainees as a percentage of the construction trades workforce for the head contractor and all Subcontractors used for the Contract. It is based on the combined Western Australian construction trades workforce of the:

Examples of Training Rate in a sentence

  • Effective July 1, 2015, the Employer shall contribute the Training Rate or thirty-seven cents ($0.37), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Non‐Medicaid-Funded Hour worked.

  • However, the employee shall not be entitled to the Training Rate thereafter, unless the employee is performing a Temporary Assignment.

  • Effective July 1, 2014, the Employer shall contribute the Training Rate or thirty cents ($0.30), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Non-­‐Medicaid-­‐Funded Hour worked in the Employer’s in-­‐home care program.

  • Where employees in the bargaining unit are cross-trained to perform work on the Employer’s production, machines, or operations, the employees shall be entitled to the Training Rate associated with said duties, while the employee is training.

  • Effective July 1, 2016, the Employer shall contribute the Training Rate or thirty-eight cents ($0.38), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Non‐Medicaid‐Funded Hour worked in the Employer’s in‐home care program.

  • Effective July 1, 2017, the Employer shall contribute the Training Rate or forty cents ($0.40), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour worked.

  • If Training Period is extended, an employee will receive the Training Rate until the evaluation is finalized and then either awarded the position and Full Rate or denied and returned to his/her previous position.

  • Effective July 1, 2019, the Employer shall contribute the Training Rate or forty-five cents ($0.45), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour worked.

  • Training Rate: New employees shall receive an hourly rate equal to 80% of the rate for the classification they are working in.

  • Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Training Rate or forty-three and one-half cents ($0.435), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour worked of which two and one-half cents ($0.025) can be used to support the certification and testing benefit.
