Training hours definition

Training hours means the number of hours devoted to lecture, learning activities, small group work sessions, demonstration, evaluations, or hands-on experience.
Training hours means hours for which training has been approved for the purposes of fulfilling the licensing training requirements.

  • If a TrANS program is not available in the contractor’s area and another training program is utilized, payment of On-the-Job Training hours may be approved by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) if the training program meets the established acceptance criteria.

Training hours means hours spent providing instruction to students. Required Training Hours for each Training session does not include travel time to and from the Training session location, or time spent setting up prior to, or packing up after delivery of a Training session. Trainer means Contractor, acting by and through an individual who facilitates learning in a traditional or virtual classroom environment and who is a credible individual with strong public speaking skills who applies the principles of adult learning to share information, lead discussions and who creates an inclusive and safe learning environment for a diverse employee population. “Trainer” can be used interchangeably with “Instructor”.
Training hours means the number of training hours spent in training activities in an accredited training program including but not limited to hours devoted to lecture, learning activities, small group activities, demonstrations, evaluations, and/or hands-on experience.
Training hours shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.3.2 (Calculation of Training Costs and Expenses) of Exhibit A (Standard Terms and Conditions) of this Agreement.

Related to Training hours

  • Working Hours means 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (local time) on a Business Day.

  • Normal Working Hours means between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive. Saturdays, Sundays, and County holidays are excluded.

  • Operating Hours means the hours listed in an early learning program parent handbook when the program is open and providing care and services to children.

  • Training means instruction or teaching designed to impart a specific skill, as opposed to general knowledge.

  • Base Hours means the hours of work for which a staff member receives compensation. Base hours shall include overtime hours for which a staff member is paid additional or overtime compensation, and hours for which a staff member receives workers’ compensation benefits. Base hours shall also include hours a staff member would have worked except for having been in military service. Base hours do not include hours for when a staff member receives other types of compensation, such as administrative, personal leave, vacation, or sick leave.

  • Clock hour(s means the actual number of hours or time a participant spends attending the instructional portion of training designed to develop or enhance early care and education or school-age care competencies.

  • Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;

  • Trading Hours means the hours of trading as set forth on the Trading Platform for a particular Underlying Asset.

  • Service Hours means the amount of time (measured in hours or fractions thereof) a Unit is Delivering Energy or Ancillary Services pursuant to a Dispatch Notice.

  • Support Hours means 24 hours per day with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day;

  • Time Worked means time during which an employee is performing labor or services for the benefit of an employer, including all time s/he is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.

  • Training provider means an organization meeting the eligibility conditions as mentioned in Data Sheet and selected in accordance with the criteria set forth for the purpose.

  • Labor hours means the total hours of workers receiving an hourly wage who are directly employed on the site of a building improvement or public works project. "Labor hours" includes hours performed by workers employed by the general contractor and all subcontractors working on the project. "Labor hours" does not include hours worked by foremen, superintendents, project managers, project engineers, and owners.

  • Training Services means access to Red Hat training courses, including online courses or courses provided at a site as may be agreed by the parties.

  • Normal Business Hours means 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., EST/EDT, on Business Days.
