Training and experience definition

Training and experience means all of the knowledge and skills the Member acquired while in school, from their current or former employment or during their non-working hours.
Training and experience means knowledge of existing conservation practices and programs, first-hand experience with installation of conservation practices, or education and training or experience in soil science, natural resources, environmental science, or a related field; and
Training and experience means qualifications of contractors and their employees, established by bylaw pursuant to sections 7 and 30 of The Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan Act and published by the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan with respect to the installation, operation, repair or maintenance of an elevating device.

Examples of Training and experience in a sentence

  • Training and experience earned prior to the first day of school of the current academic school year and used for salary purposes must be properly verified by official transcripts and verifications of employment by October 1 of the current academic school year.

  • Training and experience in student counseling, Special Education and serving English Learners.

  • Training and experience may consist of licensure as an architect or engineer, experience in the construction industry, or training or experience as an inspector or plan reviewer.

Related to Training and experience

  • Work experience means an activity in the unpaid employment component in which the participant works without pay at a job site to develop good work habits and basic vocational skills that enhance the likelihood the participant will become employed. "Work experience" is available through private for-profit businesses, nonprofit organizations, or public agencies.¶

  • Clinical experience means providing direct services to individuals with mental illness or the provision of direct geriatric services or special education services. Experience may include supervised internships, practicums, and field experience.

  • Training and Workshops means reasonable and necessary costs of training related to Project implementation, including the fees of educational or other institutions that provide training, costs related to attendance or organization of conferences, seminars, study tours and workshops, and the trainees’ cost of travel, boarding, lodging and per diem allowances.

  • Professional experience means the actual and lawful pursuit of the profession concerned;

  • Training means instruction or teaching designed to impart a specific skill, as opposed to general knowledge.
