Toxic or Hazardous Material definition

Toxic or Hazardous Material shall be interpreted broadly to include, but shall not be limited to, any material or substance that, under federal, state, or local laws, as now exist and may be amended, is defined or classified as: (a) a "hazardous substance" pursuant to Section 101 of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 9601(14), Section 311 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, 33 U.S.C. Section 1321, or Ohio R.C. Chapter 6111; (b) a "hazardous waste" pursuant to Section 1004 or Section 3001 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, 42 U.S.C. Sections 6903 or 6921, or Ohio R.C. Chapter 3734; (c) a "toxic pollutant" under Section 307(a)(1) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, 33 U.S.C. Section 1317(a)(1), or Ohio R.C. Chapter 6111; (d) a "hazardous air pollutant" under Section 112 of the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 7412, or Ohio R.C.
