Township Establishment definition

Township Establishment means an application in terms of this By-­‐law for the division of land that is not registered in a township register contemplated in Section 46(1) of the Deeds Registries Act nor registered in a sectional title scheme contemplated in Section 12(1)(b) of the Sectional Titles Act, and is proposed for purposes other than agriculture, forestry, mining, conservation, engineering services or a dam, and where a new township register must be opened;

Township Establishment means the preparation and submission of an application for the establishment of a township in accordance with the Township and Division of Land Ordinance, 1963 (Ordinance No. 11 of 1963), and includes the proclamation of the township, but excludes the township layout; and

  • Retail food establishment means an operation that sells or offers to sell food directly to a consumer. Retail food establishment includes both a retail grocery and a food service establishment but does not include a food processing plant.

  • Merchant Establishment means any company, establishment, firm or person, wherever located and in whatever form (including the Internet), which is designated as a MasterCard/VISA merchant and/or with whom there is an arrangement for a Cardholder to obtain goods, services or cash advances by use of the Card or Card number and includes any establishment displaying the MASTERCARD/VISA symbol which appears on the face of the Card.

  • townsite in relation to the townsite to be established near the harbour means a townsite (whether or not constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act) primarily to facilitate the Company’s operations in and near the harbour and for employees of the Company and in relation to the mining areas means such a townsite or townsites or any other townsite or townsites which is or are established by the Company for the purposes of its operations and employees on or near the mining areas in lieu of a townsite constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act;

(For example: A factory, mill, store, hotel, restaurant, movie theatre, farm, ranch, bank, sales office, warehouse, central administrative office or governmental agency or subdivision thereof.) Where distinctly separate activities are performed at a single physical location (such as contract construction activities from the same physical location as a lumber yard), each activity shall be treated as a separate physical establishment, and a separate notice or notices shall be posted in each such establishment, to the extent that such notices have been furnished by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Department of Labor, or the division of labor services. Where employers are engaged in activities which are physically dispersed, such as agriculture, construction, transportation, communications and electric, gas and sanitary services, the notice or notices required by this rule shall be posted at the location to which employees report each day. Where employees do not usually work at, or report to, a single establishment, such as harbor workers, traveling salespersons, technicians, engineers, and similar personnel, such notice or notices shall be posted at the location from which the employees operate to carry out their activities. In all cases, such notice or notices shall be posted in accordance with the requirements of subrule 3.1(1).

  • Serialization within the enterprise identifier means each item produced is assigned a serial number that is unique among all the tangible items produced by the enterprise and is never used again. The enterprise is responsible for ensuring unique serialization within the enterprise identifier.

  • Temporary food service establishment means a food service establishment that operates at a fixed location for a period of time of not more than 14 consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration.
