Toughness definition

Toughness was the preferred means of introducing the debate on masculinity and safety to the participants at the Roadshow. The extensiveness of the debate is certainly not fully captured by the use of this term. As one participant aptly questioned, it seemed odd that we were seeking to create a new kind of toughness if toughness itself was the problem.
