Total suspended solid (TSS) definition
Total suspended solid (TSS) means solid or particulate matter that either floats on the surface of, or is in suspension in water, wastewater or other liquids, and that are removable by laboratory filtration as defined under the standards set forth in 40 CFR Part 136.
