Total Face Amount definition

Total Face Amount means $38,925,797.
Total Face Amount is the sum of the Basic Face Amount and the Face Amounts of any riders providing life insurance coverage on the Insured, unless specifically excluded. The Total Face Amount is used in determining the Death Benefit under this Policy and the initial Total Face Amount is shown on the cover of your Policy or subsequent Supplemental Schedule of Coverage. Valuation Day – is each day required by applicable law and currently includes each day the New York Stock Exchange is open for trading and our Administrative Office is open. Valuation Period – is the period of time between successive Valuation Days. Variable Account – is a Separate Account of ours or a subaccount of a Separate Account of ours in which assets are segregated from assets in our General Account and our other Separate Accounts. Net Premiums and Accumulated Value under this Policy may be allocated to one or more Variable Accounts. Variable Investment Option – a Variable Account or Variable Option. Variable Options – an Investment Option consisting of one or more Variable Accounts available under this Policy, and are part of the Separate Account. We, our, ours, and us – refer to Pacific Life Insurance Company (PLIC). Written Request – is your signed request in writing, or on a form we provide, and received by us at our Administrative Office in Proper Form, containing information we need to act on the request. Prior to any Written Request, you may contact us to obtain information regarding the Proper Form required for a request. Written Request includes an electronic request provided in a format acceptable to us.
Total Face Amount. The Specified Face Amount plus Additional Protection Benefit Face Amount. See Section 1.

Examples of Total Face Amount in a sentence

  • If this excess amount is not refunded by then, the Total Face Amount under the policy shall be increased retroactively so that at no time is the Death Benefit ever less than the amount necessary to ensure or maintain such tax qualification.

  • The Total Face Amount is made up of two components: (i) the Base Face Amount, and (ii) any Supplemental Face Amount.

  • Any reduction in the Total Face Amount generally will be implemented by first reducing any Supplemental Face Amount, although we reserve the right to allow a reduction in Base Face Amount first.

  • If Death Benefit Option 2 is in effect at the time of the withdrawal, the Policy Value will be reduced but the Total Face Amount will not be reduced.

  • All stations and cable operators are required to monitor a minimum of two sources.

  • Reduction of Total Face Amount You may request a reduction in Total Face Amount any time after the first Policy Year while this policy is In Force.

Total Face Amount. The Specified Face Amount plus the Supplemental Insurance Face Amount specified as such in Section 1.

Total Face Amount. Total Face Amount is the sum of Face Amount of this Group Policy and any other life coverage on the Insured Member taken by the Group Policy Holder with MetLife India Insurance Company Private Limited. The Total Face Amount shall be reckoned only if this Group Policy provides for Extraordinary Gratuity Benefits or the Group Life Cover is in excess of the difference between the Total Statutory Gratuity Benefits and the Accrued Gratuity.

  • Maximum Face Amount means, with respect to any outstanding Letter of Credit, the face amount of such Letter of Credit including all automatic increases provided for in such Letter of Credit, whether or not any such automatic increase has become effective.

  • Face Amount means, when used with respect to this Security, the amount set forth on the face of this Security as its “Face Amount.”
