Tool Software definition

Tool Software means a computer program used by software developers to create, develop, compile, debug, assemble, link or otherwise maintain Embedded Software which, by its nature, does not need to become part of Embedded Software, such as software source code generators, make-, config- and build-files or example code.

  • Unless licensed under a Floating license, or Node-Locked license, SISW grants to Customer a non-exclusive, non- transferable license to have the executable version of the Tool Software used or installed by Authorized Users, limited to Customer´s internal business purposes for the time period specified in the Order only.

  • Customer may only engage a third party to host Tool Software with SISW’s prior written consent.

  • In addition to audit rights stipulated in the Agreement, Customer shall at all times maintain records identifying: the identity and location of all entities currently using Embedded Software or Tool Software, including any contractors, the number of units distributed by Customer; or, a description of the Customer Product(s), Processors, ECU, Brand or Platform for which the Software is being used.

  • The Software is not a stand-alone software but requires the software ETS (Engineering Tool Software) available through the KNX Association cvba to be used in view of Licensor’s suitable KNX products (IoT Dashboard).

  • Indirect use of Tool Software via hardware or software used by Customer does not reduce the number of Authorized User entitlements that Customer needs to acquire.

  • Customer will provide SISW with sufficient information, including the host identifier for each workstation or server upon which the license management portion of Tool Software will be installed, for SISW to generate a license file enabling Software access per the scope of the licenses granted under each Order.

  • Tool Software Configuration and Implementation Contract was to support a complex environment, measured in terms of: a) The number of employees; the solution supports; b) The number of geographical locations supported; and c) If the client is an IT Service Provider.

  • Customer may only engage a third party to host Tool Software with Humanetics’ prior written consent.

  • For tool software, see Chapter 6 ―Direction for Tool Software Usage‖.

  • Such credit may be applied against any amount due and owing to Inspire pursuant to this Agreement (e.g., milestone payments, royalties, Transfer Price, etc.).

Related to Tool Software

  • Supplier Software means software which is proprietary to the Supplier and software which is or will be used by the Supplier for the purposes of providing the Placement Services;

  • Tyler Software means our proprietary software, including any integrations, custom modifications, and/or other related interfaces identified in the Investment Summary and licensed by us to you through this Agreement. • “we”, “us”, “our” and similar terms mean ▇▇▇▇▇. • “you” and similar terms mean Client.

Font Software shall include all Subsets and bitmap representations of typeface and typographic designs and ornaments created by or derived from the Font Software. Font Software includes upgrades or updates (each of which may be provided to you by Monotype in its sole discretion), related files, permitted modifications, permitted copies, and related documentation.

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.
