To condone definition
To condone means to overlook harassment and/or discrimination without taking action, and pertains to individuals who know or reasonably ought to know that harassment or discrimination is occurring (or has taken place) and take no action to stop (or report) the offending behaviour. If an employer or Senior Administrator knows or reasonably ought to have known that harassment or discrimination is occurring (or has taken place) and fails to act promptly to resolve the matter, he or she has condoned the behaviour and is in violation of this Policy.
