TNC services definition

TNC services means the period of time a TNC driver: a. Is logged on to the TNC’s digital network and available to accept a ride request until the TNC driver is logged off, except for that time period described in b.; and b. Accepts a ride request on the TNC’s digital network until the TNC driver completes the transaction or the ride is complete, whichever is later.
TNC services or “services” means transportation of a passenger between points chosen by the passenger and prearranged with a driver through the use of a TNC digital network or software application. Services begin when a driver accepts a request for transportation received through the TNC’s digital network or software application, continue while the driver transports the passenger in the driver’s motor vehicle, and end when the passenger exits the driver’s motor vehicle. TNC service is not taxicab, for-hire vehicle, or street hail service.
TNC services means any services provided by a TNC Driver when using a TNC Mobile App to provide transportation services on the TNC Airport Property. TNC Services include all of the following three periods of operation: (i) Period One: when the TNC Mobile App is open and the TNC Driver is waiting for a match; (ii) Period Two: when the match has been accepted by the TNC Driver has not yet picked up the passenger; and (iii) Period Three: when the TNC Driver has a passenger in the TNC Vehicle until the passenger safely exits the TNC Vehicle.

Examples of TNC services in a sentence

  • When TNC Drivers are using the TNC Mobile App, Licensee shall allow such TNC Drivers to use Airport only in connection with operating TNC services between the Upper Departure level of the Airport’s Central Terminal Area (“CTA”) and such points as the City shall duly and regularly designate through the issuance of TNC License.

  • Only street legal vehicles shall be used as in the operation of TNC services.

  • The Company agrees that any violation by TNC Drivers operating under this Agreement shall be cause for denying such TNC Drivers the privilege to come upon the Airport and Port to do business providing TNC services.

  • TNT personnel will participate in selling TNC services to the TNT clients.

  • Those services include, but are not limited to: (1) Consultation and/or direct representation for TNC drivers facing deactivation; (2) Other support for TNC drivers to ensure compliance with applicable labor standards and/or to support their ability to perform TNC services; and (3) outreach and education to TNC drivers regarding their rights under SMC 14.32 and other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.” The Work is subject to City review and approval.

  • When TNC Drivers are using the TNC Mobile App, Licensee shall allow such TNC Drivers to use Airport only in connection with operating TNC services on the Upper/Departure Level of the Airport’s Central Terminal Area (“CTA”), or designated subareas thereof as established by the City, and any other Airport property area approved by the Executive Director from time to time (“Approved Airport Areas”).

  • Rasier shall submit documentation to City that it has secured primary automobile liability insurance coverage in the amount of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence for the driver for incidents involving the driver while providing TNC services.

  • This Agreement shall become effective five (5) business days after execution by the mayor and expire upon (a) the effective date of any amendments to the Ordinance that incorporate requirements related to TNC services or (b) twelve (12) months from the date of this Agreement, whichever is earlier.

  • The Company shall notify all TNC Drivers that they are to accept any and all passengers desiring TNC services without discrimination of any kind.

TNC services or "services" means:
TNC services and "Services" shall mean transportation of a passenger using a personal or noncommercial vehicle that is used by a transportation network company driver to provide ground transportation services to or from the Airport or Port arranged through a Transportation Network Company’s digital network platform or software application service.
TNC services means transportation for compensation of one or more Passengers in a Motor Vehicle with a seating capacity of not more than 10 individuals, from any place in the City of Kingston to any destination in or outside of the City of Kingston, requested, brokered, facilitated, solicited, offered or advertised through a Transportation Network Company;
