Tissue Samples definition

Tissue Samples means human formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tumor tissue samples collected from Identified Patients by or on behalf of Strata Oncology during the conduct of the Strata Trial Collaboration.
Tissue Samples means any human tissue sample provided by or for ARNO to LBS under the Agreement, including but not limited to human tissue samples from a Clinical Trial.
Tissue Samples means AMBION Tissue Samples and ROSETTA Tissue Samples.

  • In the event that any Patient Tissues are to be transferred from Institution to deCODE for the purposes of this Agreement, such Patient Tissues shall be provided under the terms and conditions of a Transfer Agreement for Patient Tissue Samples in substantially the same form as that attached as Appendix D.

  • Through a procedure approved by the Institutional Review Board of the University, the University will then obtain blood and tissue samples ("Tissue Samples") from such identified individuals.

Related to Tissue Samples

  • Tissue means a portion of the human body other than an organ or an eye. The term does not include blood unless the blood is donated for the purpose of research or education.

  • Biological Samples means any physical samples obtained from Study Participants in accordance with the Protocol for the purposes of the Study.

  • Fissile material means the radionuclides uranium-233, uranium-235, plutonium-239, and plutonium-241, or any combination of these radionuclides. "Fissile material" means the fissile nuclides themselves, not material containing fissile nuclides. Unirradiated natural uranium and depleted uranium and natural uranium or depleted uranium, that has been irradiated in thermal reactors only, are not included in this definition. Certain exclusions from fissile material controls are provided in 10 CFR 71.15.

  • DNA sample means any material that has come from a human body and consists of or includes human cells;

  • Drug sample means a unit of a prescription drug that is not intended to be sold and is intended to promote the sale of the drug.
