Time to Mitigate definition

Time to Mitigate. (TTM) is the elapsed time between an on-demand customer taking action to trigger a mitigation and the mitigation actually commencing on the platform (including the redirection of traffic as appropriate).

Examples of Time to Mitigate in a sentence

  • If Customer has provided all necessary information to allow Provider to initiate mitigation countermeasures, the Time to Mitigate goal is measured from the time Customer approval is received by Provider to the time actual mitigation countermeasures are commenced.

  • If Customer has pre-authorized CenturyLink to initiate Mitigation, but additional countermeasures that were not pre-authorized are required to mitigate the Incident, the verbal permission Time to Mitigate Goal will apply to the additional countermeasures that were not previously pre-authorized.

  • To receive a remedy under this DDoS Shield SLA, Customer must notify Verizon within 40 business days of an SLA metric having not been met, with the exception of Clause 4.5 (Time to Mitigate) where the Customer must notify Verizon within 5 calendar days of an SLA metric having not been met.

  • If Customer has provided all the necessary information to initiate Mitigation, the Time to Mitigate Goal is measured from Customer Approval to the actual initiation of Mitigation.

  • Time to Mitigate (TTM) – 15 minutes Maximum time allowed for F5 to begin DDoS attack mitigation.
