Time rate definition

Time rate. ’ means the rate of fare assessed for use of the taxicab based upon an element of time;
Time rate means the hourly rate of remuneration. "Double time" means twice the straight time. An employee who is required to work overtime shall be paid as follows:
Time rate means a rate where the amount of the remuneration is to be calculated by reference to the actual number of hours worked;

Examples of Time rate in a sentence

  • Probationary teachers who do not receive job embedded professional development time shall be paid at the Loss of Preparation Time rate in APPENDIX D for at least one (1) hour of induction time per week to take place before or after the regular school day.

  • Students who attend a Semester at a less than Full Time rate are charged the Semester rate divided by the minimum number of credits applicable for that enrollment status [nine (9) for Three-Quarter time, six (6) for Half Time, three (3) for Quarter time].

  • Teachers who cover for this purpose will be reimbursed at the Prep Time Coverage and/or Loss of Prep Time rate of pay (See Section D).

  • This will be calculated at an Employee’s Ordinary Time rate of pay plus allowances for their Primary Position.

  • An Employee, other than a casual employee, who does not work on a State gazetted public holiday in the region in which they usually work shall be paid for the Ordinary Time rate plus accrual for an RDO.
