time-in-position definition

time-in-position means the period of time when an air traffic controller is exercising the privileges of the air traffic controller’s licence at an operational position.
time-in-position means the employee must have performed work on at least 38 weeks for each of the completed years in the position at the designated location. Paid or unpaid leave will not be recognised for the purpose of calculating an employee’s ‘time in position’. Where an employee has worked less than an aggregate of 38 weeks in a one-year period, that employee may still be eligible for a transfer upon attaining an aggregate period of 38 weeks, provided that the aggregate period is completed within a reasonable timeframe.
