Time based definition

Time based means, with respect to an Award, an Award that vests solely on the basis of continued employment.
Time based means a fee that is determined by the amount of time involved such as so much per hour, day or week. “Fixed” means a fee that is based on an agreed amount regardless of the time or effort involved or the result obtained. “Contingent” means a certain agreed percentage or amount that is payable only upon attaining a recovery regardless of the time or effort involved. I understand that not all attorneys offer all of these different types of fee arrangements, and I acknowledge that I have the right to contact other attorneys to determine if they may provide such other fee arrangements for my case or matter. After such consideration or consultation, I have elected the fee arrangement set forth in the accompanying contingent fee agreement.
Time based means a cumulative time period of measure (e.g. minutes, hours, months) of actual use (e.g. user login time, session length) of a product.

Examples of Time based in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Contract Documents indicate elsewhere that excavation is to be on an unclassified basis, Contractor shall not be entitled to any adjustment to the Contract Sum or Contract Time based upon this 12.9.

Related to Time based

  • Performance-Based Awards means the Performance Share Awards and Restricted Stock Awards granted to selected Covered Employees pursuant to Articles 9 and 10, but which are subject to the terms and conditions set forth in Article 11. All Performance-Based Awards are intended to qualify as "performance-based compensation" under Section 162(m) of the Code.

  • Prime-based Rate means, for any day, that rate of interest which is equal to the sum of the Applicable Margin plus the greater of (i) the Prime Rate, and (ii) the Alternate Base Rate.
