Dike means an embankment or ridge of either natural or man-made materials used to prevent the movement of liquids, sludges, solids, or other materials.
Bulkhead means an airtight structure separating the working chamber from free air or from another chamber under a lower pressure than the working pressure;
Basement means any area of the building having its floor subgrade (below ground level) on all sides.
Diameter means the diameter of the stem of a tree measured outside the bark at a specified point of measurement.
PAD means a Preauthorized Debit.
Pavement means any type of improved surface that is within the public right-of-way and that is paved or otherwise constructed with bituminous, concrete, aggregate, or gravel.
Connector means a flanged, screwed, welded, or other joined fitting used to connect two pipelines or a pipeline and a piece of process equipment.
Permeable pavement means paving material that absorbs water or allows water to infiltrate through the paving material. "Permeable pavement" materials include porous concrete, permeable interlocking concrete pavers, concrete grid pavers, porous asphalt, and any other material with similar characteristics.
Perimeter means the fenced or walled area of the institution that restrains the movement of the inmates.
HDPE means high density polyethylene;
Pile means any non-containerized accumulation of solid, nonflowing hazardous waste that is used for treatment or storage and that is not a containment building.
Bathroom and tile cleaner means a product designed or labeled to clean tile or surfaces in bathrooms. “Bathroom and Tile Cleaner” does not include “Toilet/Urinal Care Product.”
Walkway means a paved or unpaved trail or pathway or a structure constructed of wood or other material that is neces- sary due to the difficulty of the terrain for access to the river.
Deck means a walkway immediately adjacent to a swimming pool.
Landing means the level portion of a stairs located between flights of stairs or located at the top and foot of a stairs.
Wheel means a complete wheel consisting of a rim and a wheel disc;
Cabinet means the Cabinet for Health and Family Services;
fire hydrant means a fire plug or fixed pillar fire hydrant;
Curbside “Curb” means that portion of the right-of-way adjacent to paved or traveled roadways, including the end of a driveway, curb line or alley line. Containers will be placed as close to the roadway as practicable without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians.
Sidewalk means that portion of a street between the curb lines, or the lateral lines of a roadway, and the adjacent property lines intended for the use of pedestrians.
water meter means any apparatus for measuring or showing the volume of water supplied to, or of effluent discharged from any premises;
Bathroom means any room containing a built-in flush-type toilet.
Tight-fitting facepiece means a respiratory inlet covering that forms a complete seal with the face.
Tree means any object of natural growth.
Corridor means a common passage or circulation space including a common entrance hall.
Sidelights means a green light on the starboard side and a red light on the port side each showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 112.5 degrees and so fixed as to show the light from right ahead to 22.5 degrees abaft the beam on its respective side. In a vessel of less than 20 metres in length the sidelights may be combined in one lantern carried on the fore and aft centreline of the vessel.
