Thermal Unit definition

Thermal Unit means a free-standing piece of testing equipment (into which manufactured components may be placed in order to subject them to hot or cold temperature changes for evaluation purposes) of the same make and model as the thermal unit previously inspected by Lessor at Lessee's current place of business. The parties agree that Lessee shall be entitled to install a Thermal Unit in the Premises, upon the following terms and conditions:

Examples of Thermal Unit in a sentence

  • A quantity of energy expressed in Btu (British Thermal Unit) is converted into a quantity of energy expressed in J (joule) by multiplying this quantity of energy by 1,055.056.

  • Fuel inventories shall be measured in British Thermal Unit per unit capability.

  • To the effects of this formula, it shall be the actual sale price of the Gas for the production of the corresponding calendar month, expressed in United States of America dollars, per million British Thermal Unit BTU (USD $ /MMBTU), agreed upon by the CONTRACTOR with buyers, discounting transportation and processing costs between the Point of Delivery and the actual point of sale.

  • Equivalent (BOE) means six thousand (6,000) standard cubic feet of Natural Gas based on the assumption that such gas has a calorific value of one thousand (1,000) British Thermal Unit per cubic foot (BTU/ft3).

  • BTU shall mean British Thermal Unit equivalent to 1055,06 Joule(s).

  • In the event that hydrocarbons other than gas are present, such other hydrocarbons shall be converted at their British Thermal Unit equivalent in accordance with standard engineering practice, as shall be described in such report.
