Thermal Oxidizer definition

Thermal Oxidizer means combustion equipment fired with gaseous fuel and used to control emissions of air contaminants from industrial or commercial processes.
Thermal Oxidizer means a type of control apparatus which reduces the emission of air contaminants by subjecting the gases being emitted to elevated temperatures which cause the air contaminant molecules to decompose within an enclosed space. For the purposes of this subchapter, this term includes catalytic and non-catalytic thermal oxidizers.
Thermal Oxidizer means the thermal oxidizer described in the Company's application, this Certificate and in the supporting documentation referred to herein, to the extent approved by this Certificate.
