Therapy assistant means a skilled technical employee who under the direction of a qualified professional is engaged to: • assist residents with their rehabilitation • assist with the planning supervision and implementation of client therapeutic programs • undertakes direct client therapeutic activities.   • Occupational Therapy services are covered when performed by a Provider licensed and practicing within the scope of his license, including, but not limited to, a licensed occupational therapist, a licensed and certified Occupational Therapy assistant supervised by a licensed occupational therapist, or a licensed advanced practice registered nurse.
