The-Shelf Software definition

The-Shelf Software means Software that is ready-made and available for sale, lease, or license to the general public, with functionality and complexity defined by market need and which is not developed by the Consultant or its subcontractors for the Project, but which is acquired commercially.

  • Off-the-Shelf Software means any Software that is made generally and widely available to the public on a commercial basis and is licensed to any of the Group Companies on a non-exclusive basis under standard terms and conditions.
