the Grid Code means the code with that name specifying technical requirements for connection to, and use of, the GB transmission system which is maintained in accordance with the conditions of li- cences granted under section 6(1) of EA 1989;

Examples of the Grid Code in a sentence

  • Information and data flow between the Parties shall be governed by the Grid Code and the ÁSZF.

  • For installation of Meters, Meter testing, Meter calibration and Meter reading and all matters incidental thereto, the SPD shall follow and be bound by the Central Electricity Authority (Installation and Operation of Meters) Regulations, 2006, and the Grid Code, as amended and revised from time to time.

  • The Service Provider must provide reserve, with the exception of Replacement Reserve, in accordance with the technical requirements of the Grid Code and the relevant Operating Parameters of the Providing Unit.

  • The Service Provider must provide Steady-State Reactive Power in accordance with the technical requirements of the Grid Code where applicable and the relevant Operating Parameters for the Providing Unit.

  • Such equipment, transformers, cabling and power supplies shall be maintained by the Customer throughout the Term to the reasonable satisfaction of the Company in accordance with the Grid Code and the Customer shall provide to the Company such evidence as to the completion of such maintenance as is required by the Company (acting reasonably).

Related to the Grid Code

  • Grid Code / “IEGC” or “State Grid Code” shall mean the Grid Code specified by the Central Commission under clause (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 79 of the Electricity Act and/or the State Grid Code as specified by the concerned State Commission referred under clause (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 86 of the Electricity Act, as applicable;

  • State Grid Code means the Grid Code specified by the CERC under Clause (h) of Sub-section (1) of Section 79 of the Electricity Act, as amended from time to time, and/or the State Grid Code as specified by the concerned State Commission, referred under Clause (h) of Sub- section (1) of Section 86 of the Electricity ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, as applicable;

  • IMDG Code means the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, for the implementation of Chapter VII, Part A, of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 (SOLAS Convention), published by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), London;

  • POPI Act means the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013;

  • Sort code means the 6-digit code that identifies a particular bank and bank branch in the Republic of Ireland;
