Text Message Service definition

Text Message Service includes any arrangement or situation in which Hotwire, its employees, consultants, advisors, agents, or other representative sends (or indicates that it may send or receives a request that it send) one or more text messages. You may review a partial list of covered Text Message Services. • “Opting In,” “Opt In” and “Opt-In” refer to requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages.
Text Message Service has the meaning set out in clause 2.1 of Appendix A.

Examples of Text Message Service in a sentence

  • Quick Heal makes use of Short Text Message Service (SMS) while providing these services.

  • Your opt-out request may generate either a confirmation text or a texted request to clarify the Text Message Service to which it applies (if you have more than one).

  • If you deactivate cellular service for the mobile phone number that you enrolled in the Text Message Service, you are responsible for deactivating that same phone number as described in how To Stop the Program above.

  • By Opting In to the Text Message Service: • You consent to receive automated messages and authorize Hotwire to use autodialer or non-autodialer technology to send text messages to the cell phone number associated with your Opt-In (i.e., the number provided by you to Hotwire, or, if none, the number from which you send the Opt-In, or, if none, the number on file for the account associated with your Opt-In), to update you regarding any account-related issues.

  • You acknowledge and agree to arbitrate any disputes arising under and related to this Agreement and/or the Text Message Service.

  • Hotwire may terminate any Text Message Service or your participation in it at any time with or without notice, including, for example, before you have received any or all messages that you otherwise would have received, but these Terms & Conditions will still apply.

  • These Terms & Conditions will still apply if you withdraw the consent mentioned above or opt out of the Text Message Service.

  • Neither Pear nor the Service Partner will charge you for the Text Message Service.

  • If either carrier requests a review then the carriers shall meet and discuss any issues that either carrier wishes to raise regarding the Text Message Service.

  • No earlier than 3 months after the Commencement Date, either carrier may request a review of the provision of the Text Message Service.
