Examples of Term Faculty in a sentence

  • The term Limited Term Faculty includes all faculty members hired for defined periods of not less than one year and not more than a cumulative total of four years.

  • Appointments to the Limited Term Faculty may require only the teaching and service components of the Academic Duties and Responsibilities described in Article 10 (Workload).

  • A Limited Term Faculty member shall have the right to one additional teaching assessment in any given semester.

  • Where a member in a Limited Term Faculty appointment is offered a probationary appointment, the University and the member shall be free to negotiate the starting salary of the probationary appointment.

  • In circumstances where the University takes steps to bring to an end the Limited Term Contract earlier than the originally agreed to terminal date of the LTF contract, the Limited Term Faculty member shall be entitled to the benefits of the notice period set out in Article 24.B.1 (a) and, in addition, a severance payment.

  • Limited Term Faculty shall file a Faculty Annual Report each year.

  • Assessment procedures shall be as those set forth in Article 5A.5. Limited Term Faculty members may respond, in writing, to any teaching assessment.

  • Except as provided in Article 11, (Reduction, Recall and Severance Pay), permanent regular faculty members who accept an appointment to a different area under this Article shall maintain their permanent regular status but shall be subject to the provisions of Article 16, (Evaluation of Probationary Regular and Term Faculty Members), as they apply to these positions.

  • The term member includes all Limited Term Faculty, all Tenured and pre-tenured Faculty (including those on a re-employment program, reduced workload and/or lay-off status); and including those who are, or have been appointed to supervisory, administrative, and/or developmental positions such as Chair, Director, Associate ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇, Vice-▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, Faculty Affairs and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Vice-President, Academic.

  • Appointments to the Limited Term Faculty may be made to replace faculty members on extended leave, or who have been assigned duties outside the Department/School, or to serve in a Department/School where there are specific Department/School workloads that do not require tenure-stream appointments.

Related to Term Faculty

  • Term Facility means, at any time, (a) on or prior to the Closing Date, the aggregate amount of the Term Commitments at such time and (b) thereafter, the aggregate principal amount of the Term Loans of all Term Lenders outstanding at such time.

  • Term Facilities means the Term A Facility and the Term B Facility.

  • Term B Loans means (a) the term loans made by the Lenders to the Borrower pursuant to Section 2.01(a), and (b) any Incremental Term Loans in the form of Term B Loans made by the Incremental Term Lenders to the Borrower pursuant to Section 2.01(c).

  • Term Loans means the term loans made by the Term Lenders to the Borrower pursuant to Section 2.01(b).

  • Initial Term Facility means the Initial Term Loan Commitments and the Initial Term Loans made hereunder.
