Temporary Hours definition

Temporary Hours are hours assigned to schools for a duration of less than ninety (90) days;
Temporary Hours are defined as hours provided to schools, other than Day 8 enrolment-based hours and SEP hours, which may be allocated to either temporary or permanent teacher aides. The parties agree that temporary teacher aides can be engaged to backfill a teacher aide who is on a form of approved leave.
Temporary Hours. Temporary" time added to a current Employee's regularly scheduled hours or a "temporary" new position, shall not exceed twenty (20) consecutive work days unless mutually agreed to by the bargaining unit and Administration. After the twenty (20) consecutive work day period, if it is determined by management that the hours are to become permanent, then those hours or the new position shall be posted according to Article VI.

  • Temporary hours reductions made according to ARTICLE 48 – TEMPORARY HOURS REDUCTIONS AND FURLOUGHS Article 2257– Furlough and Temporary Hours Reductions do not constitute layoffs.

  • Temporary Work means all temporary works of every kind required in or about the execution, completion and maintenance of the works.
