Temporary Art definition
Temporary Art or “Temporary installation” means Public Art to be placed on City Property (other than the City’s right-of-way) for less than one year, and may include visual artworks, projections, digital media, virtual reality, lights, sounds, and other artistic media.
Temporary Art means art pieces or installations not intended to be permanent in one location, area or space and are easily (re)moveable or changed.
Temporary Art means original artwork that is created to be exhibited for a proposed length of time, for a specific occasion or event. Temporary art may take many forms including visual, digital, sound, and performance-based artwork.
Examples of Temporary Art in a sentence
The City has the absolute right to relocate, remove, move, or reaffix the artwork, or any part of it, at any time― and for any duration, whether temporarily or permanently― if the City, in its sole discretion, determines that: (a) any one or more reasons for removal exists, as stated in the City’s Temporary Art Display Policy; or (b) it is advisable to relocate, remove, move, or reaffix it.
The purpose of Amendment Number One is to implement Phase II through Phase IV of the Snowy Range Bridge Temporary Art Project, utilizing the funds remaining and extending the term through full completion.
The City’s Temporary Art Display Policy is incorporated into this Agreement and made a part of it.
