Temperature Conditioning Mode or “TCM” means the AECD that controls engine out emissions and exhaust temperatures when the SCR system is below specified temperatures, consisting of three or more emission control strategy steps. As originally calibrated in the Master Series Calibration, the TCM operated the strategy steps during the regulatory test cycles in a different manner than when driving on the road.
