Teletext definition

Teletext means any data service of the type which is currently transmitted using lines in the vertical blanking interval of the vision element of analogue television signals directed to the general public.
Teletext means alphanumeric data containing an informational, referential and advertising part intended for transmission by a television operator in an evident form or encoded in the synchronizing signal.
