Teaching positions definition

Teaching positions means those positions filled or vacated by teachers who are included as members of the bargaining unit.
Teaching positions. All professional positions within the school system which are not hereinabove defined as "administrative positions" or "quasi‑administrative positions" or in Exhibit C.

Examples of Teaching positions in a sentence

  • Teaching positions designated as full-time will be entitled to participate in designated employee benefit programs and plans established by SCHOOL from time to time for the benefit of its employees.

  • Teaching positions in the Midland summer school will be filled first by qualified teachers in the bargaining unit and/or by teaching administrators regularly employed in the Midland school system.

  • Teaching positions in summer school will, to the extent possible, be filled by teachers currently employed in the position at the identified summer school site.

  • Teaching positions or vacancies that may be created or occur throughout the year shall be communicated to teachers in the program before they are filled.

  • Teaching positions in the summer such as Title I, etc., shall be filled by qualified teachers.

  • Teaching positions are available for surplus teachers within the Board, unless a surplus teacher is also declared redundant.

  • Posting of Long-Term Teacher-Teaching-On-Call Assignments Teaching positions not posted as temporary appointments pursuant to Article C.23 (Temporary Appointments), and that become vacant for a duration exceeding ten (10) days but less than three (3) months, shall be posted within the district and filled as a long-term Teacher-Teaching-On-Call assignment.

  • Filing and response time limits shall be met by mailing, e-mail, delivery or facsimile transmission.

  • All Long Term Occasional Teaching positions known in advance shall be posted in every school at least three (3) school days or four (4) calendar days during the summer, prior to the closing date for applications.

  • Teaching positions under the Federal, State and Local programs, where not made part of a full-time faculty member's course load, will be filled on the basis of rotation subject to the approval of the Administration.
