TAX PROPOSAL definition
TAX PROPOSAL means, with respect to a proposed change in Tax Law, a proposal published in writing by (i) the President of the United States, (ii) the U.S. Treasury Department or any official on behalf of the U.S. Treasury Department (including the Office of Tax Policy), (iii) the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service or any official on behalf of the Internal Revenue Service, (iv) a member of the United States Congress, (v) the Joint Committee on Taxation or the Staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation, (vi) the House Ways and Means Committee, or (vii) the Senate Finance Committee.
