Target Compound definition

Target Compound means any of (a) any antibody that modulates and directly binds to a Target, (b) any molecule that modulates and directly binds to a Target or (c) any protein that contains a Target.
Target Compound means a compound or small molecule, or group of the same, identified in the course of Project Research, being a compound which it is expected will be Covered By a Project Patent.
Target Compound means a compound that is identified and quantified in accordance with 40 CFR 136, or other accepted protocols.

  • At such time as a Target Compound is shown in the course of the Research Program to meet or exceed one or more of the Target Profiles, the JSC will review the data generated under the Research Program with respect to such compound, and will nominate such Target Compound as a Candidate Compound.

  • In such case, the Parties shall agree on an update of the Research Plan for such Collaboration Target, such that the Research Plan sets forth the [***] criteria and the data package to be provided by Company to Merck for the Research Unit Leadership Teams’ approval on such Target Compound being moved into clinical Development.

  • Once approved by the JSC, (A) such proposed target compound profiles shall become Target Compound Profiles hereunder and (B) a Target Compound Profile may be modified or amended by the JSC from time to time.

  • With respect to each Collaboration Target, Company shall (a) promptly provide a written report to Merck when Company believes that any Target Compound for that Collaboration Target has achieved the applicable DPHO Criteria, and (b) provide to Merck all data and information in support thereof [***] that is reasonably necessary for Merck to determine that such Target Compound has achieved the applicable DPHO Criteria (“DPHO Data Package”).

  • GCI may elect to initiate an Elected Research Program comprising a Target Compound from within the Elected Research Program Fields listed in Sections 2.3(b)(i) through 2.3(b)(v).


More Definitions of Target Compound

Target Compound means any compound, inhibiting, blocking or modulating the activities of a Collaboration Target [***], including but not limited to salts, hydrates, solvates, intermediates and stereoisomers thereof, which are conceived, discovered, developed or otherwise made by or on behalf of Company during the course of the Research Program.
Target Compound means a compound designated in an Elected Research Program for transgenic expression in plants. Such Target Compounds may comprise proteins, including microbial, plant or animal enzymes, or other compounds determined as suitable for expression in plants.
Target Compound means any parameter for which quality control data are listed in the method.
Target Compound means, for a given Designated Target, any Compound that [***]. By way of example, [***].
Target Compound means the toluene that the Process is designed to treat as part of the Remedial Work Plan.
Target Compound means any Compound that binds to, modulates, is designed to bind to, or is designed to modulate a Collaboration Target.

Related to Target Compound

  • Back-Up Compound means, with reference to any particular Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate, a Compound which (a) has the same principal mode of action (i.e., Potentiator or Corrector) as that Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate; and (b) was among the group of Compounds, identified by VERTEX as potential additional lead molecules having the same principal mode of action, from which the Development Candidate was selected.

  • Licensed Compound means [***].

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).
