Tandem Transit definition

Tandem Transit. Traffic or Transit Traffic" means traffic that originates on one parties network and is transported through a third party network and/or Tandem substantially unchanged, and Terminates on another party's network. Subtending End Office Switches shall be determined in accordance with and as identified in the Local Exchange Routing Guide ("LERG"). Switched Exchange Access Service traffic is not Tandem Transit Traffic. Neither Party will provide Transit Traffic Service to the other Party.
Tandem Transit or “third party Tandem Transit” is, for the purposes of this Agreement, an arrangement that provides indirect Interconnection, via a third party’s Tandem, that is used by the Parties for the reciprocal exchange of Local and IntraLATA Toll Traffic between their respective Customers.

  • Tandem or “Tandem Switch” or “Tandem Office Switch” Tandem means to connect in series. A Tandem, Tandem Switch or Tandem Office Switch connects one trunk to another for the purpose of exchanging Local Traffic. It is an intermediate (Class 4) switch between an originating telephone call and the final destination of the call.

  • Tandem SAR means an SAR that is granted in connection with a related Option pursuant to Article 7 herein, the exercise of which shall require forfeiture of the right to purchase a Share under the related Option (and when a Share is purchased under the Option, the Tandem SAR shall similarly be canceled).

  • Transit means the passage of a third country national or a stateless person through the territory of the Requested State while travelling from the Requesting State to the country of destination;

  • Tandem Office Switch or “Tandem(s)” are used to connect and switch trunk circuits between and among other Central Office Switches. A Tandem Switch does not include a PBX.

  • Non-Tandem Stock Appreciation Right means the right to receive an amount in cash and/or stock equal to the difference between (x) the Fair Market Value of a share of Common Stock on the date such right is exercised, and (y) the aggregate exercise price of such right, otherwise than on surrender of a Stock Option.

  • Shared Transport is defined as local interoffice transmission facilities shared by more than one Carrier, including Qwest, between End Office Switches, between End Office Switches and Tandem Switches (local and Access Tandem Switches), and between Tandem Switches within the Local Calling Area, as described more fully in the Agreement.

  • Free-Standing Appreciation Right means an Appreciation Right granted pursuant to Section 5 of this Plan that is not granted in tandem with an Option Right.

  • SARS means the South African Revenue Service.
