Examples of TAHD in a sentence
Any TAHD assignment exceeding seventy percent (70%) of higher- classified assigned duties as a portion of the workload shall be considered a temporary reclassification to the higher position.
No employee shall be required to perform a TAHD against their wishes when others are available.
To be eligible for TAHD assignment, recognition and payment, the lower paid employee must perform the assigned duties of a TAHD position as a percentage portion of the workload, the percentage which shall be as mutually agreed upon between the parties, using a threshold of twenty percent (20%) of higher duties as general guidelines to qualify, for the time periods involved, and shall apply to in-scope as well as out-of- scope assignments.
Employees within the business unit will be given first consideration for the TAHD assignment.
The employee performing the TAHD shall be paid in accordance to his/her current position on the pay grid, at the pay rate of the position for which the employee is temporarily assigned to fill.

Overtime entitlement in the TAHD will be subject to the overtime provision pertaining to the TAHD designation only.
Employees are encouraged to identify the desire to seek developmental or learning opportunities for Temporary Assignment of Higher Duties (TAHD) through the Employee Work and Development Plan (EWD) in accordance with Article 8.
F) A Permanent employee or a Term employee who has acquired service for competition purposes, who has served in a TAHD assignment for the equivalent of a subsequent probationary period for the TAHD level will upon subsequent appointment to another position, or permanent reclassification, immediately following TAHD, be entitled to the appropriate salary administration rules (e.g. promotion, demotion, transfer or salary maintenance) based on the TAHD salary rate.
TAHD assignments of greater than 119 days shall be posted in accordance with Article 8.2.
