SYSTEMIC USE definition
SYSTEMIC USE means internal application throughout the whole body and not confined to a specific localized external area, including ingested or injected formulations of drugs, but excluding intradermal and subcutaneous injected formulations of drugs designed to locally treat external areas of the body and having a predominately local effect.
SYSTEMIC USE means any use of a compound or product where the administration is by means other than topical.
