Suspended Work definition

Suspended Work means any Work, or portion thereof, which the Owner has suspended pursuant to Article 34 - Suspension;

  • Upon receiving notice, the Contractor shall discontinue the Suspended Work, place no further purchase orders or subcontracts with respect to the Suspended Work, and promptly make reasonable efforts to obtain suspension terms satisfactory to the Owner with respect to all purchase orders, subcontracts, supply contracts and rental agreements related to the Suspended Work.

  • The Owner may at any time authorize resumption of the Suspended Work or any part thereof, by giving the Contractor reasonable notice specifying the part of the Suspended Work to be resumed and the effective date of such resumption.

An extension of time for an Unavoidable Delay shall only be for the period of the Unavoidable Delay, which period shall commence to run from the time of the commencement of the cause of the Unavoidable Delay.

  • Development Work means the conduct of preclinical and clinical trials, the compilation of the regulatory dossier concerning Licensed Products and the conduct of other work necessary or useful for obtaining Regulatory Approval of Licensed Products.
