Suspended expulsion definition

Suspended expulsion means setting aside an expulsion contingent upon the student fulfilling certain conditions. Upon recommendation of the Hearing Authority, a student whose expulsion is suspended may be assigned to an alternative school.

  • Expulsion means a school board action to prohibit an enrolled student from further attendance for up to twelve (12) months from the date the student is expelled. The authority to expel rests with the school board.

  • Emergency expulsion means the removal of a student from school because the student’s statements or behavior pose an immediate and continuing danger to other students or school personnel, or an immediate and continuing threat of material and substantial disruption of the educational process, subject to the requirements in WAC 392-400-510 through 392-400-530

  • Suspended Solids means solids that either float on the surface of, or are in suspension in water, sewage, or other liquids, and which are removable by laboratory filtering.

  • Suspended Lines means subscriber lines that have been temporarily disconnected.
