Surface Treatment definition

Surface Treatment means a layer of asphalt emulsion that is overlaid by a layer of embedded aggregate to extend the service life of a Highway, including but not limited to graded aggregate seal and sand seals.
Surface Treatment. : surface processing by means of hot-dip galvaniza- tion (high-temperature or normal-temperature galvanization and centrifugal galvanization) or coating or combinations of hot-dip galvanization and coating (duplex-method).
