Supportive services means those services and activities provided in con- nection with minority business enter- prise programs which are designed to increase the total number of minority businesses active in the highway pro- gram and contribute to the growth and eventual self-sufficiency of individual minority businesses so that such busi- nesses may achieve proficiency to com- pete, on an equal basis, for contracts and subcontracts.
Active Service means a Covered Person is either 1) actively at work performing all regular duties at his or her employer’s place of business or someplace the employer requires him or her to be; 2) employed, but on a scheduled holiday, vacation day, or period of approved paid leave of absence; or 3) if not employed, able to engage in substantially all of the usual activities of a person in good health of like age and sex and not confined in a Hospital or rehabilitation or rest facility.

Lessor and Lessee shall work in good faith to determine any additions and deletions to the Hotel’s Competitive Set, on or before November 15th of each year, with such changes to be applicable for the following Fiscal Year. In the event Lessor and Lessee cannot agree to the Hotel’s Competitive Set by November 15th of any year, such unagreed items shall be determined by Xxxxx Travel Research (or, if it refuses or is unable to do so, by arbitration pursuant to Section 25.2). The costs of resetting the Hotel’s Competitive Set shall be borne equally by the parties.
