Support Strand definition

Support Strand means a bare support strand whose main purpose is to support Telecommunications or low voltage wires or cables.

Examples of Support Strand in a sentence

  • Accordingly, and notwithstanding any other provisions in this Agreement, the Licensee shall not Affix more than one Support Strand or communications cable in the Communications Space of any of the Owner’s poles without the prior written approval of the Owner.

  • Licensee-owned cables not directly Attached to the Owner’s pole but Over Lashed to a cable or Support Strand not owned by the Licensee on or after March 7, 2005 shall be charged the full Attachment License Fee, for which the Licensee shall require an Approved Permit from the Owner pursuant to the terms of this agreement.

  • For the purposes of clarity and notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section, the policy of the Owner referred to in this Section allows the Licensee to Over Lash and to attach approved Service Drops, splice enclosures and cable slack to the Support Strand or communications cable attached by the Licensee to the Owner’s poles.

  • Due to the high demand for Attachment rights in the Communications Space on the poles of the Owner, it is the general and immutable policy of the Owner to approve only one Support Strand or communications cable to be Affixed to each pole of the Owner for each person licensed to Affix Attachments to the poles of the Owner.

Related to Support Strand

  • Support Structure means a structure in a public right-of-way other than a Pole or a Tower to which a Wireless Facility is attached at the time of the Application.

  • Wireless support structure means a freestanding structure designed to support or capable of supporting small cell wireless facilities. Wireless support structure does not include a utility pole.

  • Test Strategy means a strategy for the conduct of Testing as described further in paragraph 3 of Call Off Schedule 5 (Testing);

  • Support staff means those staff holding an aircraft maintenance licence under Annex III (Part-66) in category B1, B2, B2L, B3 and/or L with the appropriate aircraft ratings, working in a base maintenance environment while not necessarily holding certification privileges.

  • Data Centre or "DC" means the primary centre where data, software, computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunication and storage systems, redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications, environment controls and security devices are housed and operated from;
