Suitable material definition

Suitable material means that material acceptable to be used in a specific work and capable of being compacted in accordance with the requirements of this Specification.
Suitable material means dredged material that has been adequately characterized and determined by EPA to be physically compatible with the disposal site, to be non-toxic, and to contain no more than “trace” levels of constituents (see 40 CFR § 227.6).
Suitable material means material which can be used satisfactorily in the Works and which can be compacted in accordance with this Specification to form a stable fill.
