Chapter means the first two-digits in the tariff classification number under the Harmonized System;
Title IV means Title IV of the Social Security Act, 42 United States Code Section 601 et seq.;
chapters and “headings” mean the chapters and the headings (four-digit codes) used in the nomenclature which makes up the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System, referred to in this Protocol as “the Harmonised System” or “HS”;
Code of Federal Regulations means the compilation of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the executive departments and agencies of the federal government which:
Title IV-D means part D of title IV of the social security act, 42 USC 651 to 669b.
FDI Act means the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, as amended or recodified.
Title IV-E means the title of the Social Security Act that authorizes federal funds for foster care and adoption assistance.
Federal Regulations means those federal regulations relating to cable television services, 47 C.F.R. Section 76.1 et seq. (and, to the extent applicable, any other federal rules and regulations relating to cable television, including but not limited to, those described in 47 C.F.R. Section 76.3), or as such regulations may be amended.
General Regulations means the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (General) Regulations 2012.
General Regulations 2007 means The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007”;
CFR means the Code of Federal Regulations.
ERISA means the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended.
FOI Act means the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and any subordinate legislation made under that Act or any code issued pursuant to sections 45 or 46 of that Act or any guidance issued by the Information Commissioner;
Federal Clean Air Act means Chapter 85 (§ 7401 et seq.) of Title 42 of the United States Code.
DOL Regulations The regulations promulgated by the DOL at 29 C.F.R.ss.2510.3-101.
TIF Act means the Real Property Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, Sections 99.800 to 99.865, inclusive, of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended.
Clayton Act means the Clayton Antitrust Act of 1914, as amended, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.
ACNC Act means the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 (Cth).
Federal Bankruptcy Code means the Bankruptcy Act of Title 11 of the United States Code, as amended from time to time.
Statutory Penalties are those amounts awarded as a penalty, but are fixed in amount by statute.
the 1981 Act means the Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declarations) Act 1981(d); “the 1984 Act” means the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(e);
Safe Drinking Water Act means Tit. XIV of the federal Public Health Service Act, commonly known as the “Safe Drinking Water Act”, 42 U.S.C. §300f et seq., as amended by the Safe Drinking Water Amendments of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-182, as amended.
Clean Water Act or "CWA" means the federal Clean Water Act (33 USC § 1251 et seq.), formerly referred to as the Federal Water Pollution Control Act or Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972, Public Law 92-500, as amended by Public Law 95-217, Public Law 95-576, Public Law 96-483, and Public Law 97-117, or any subsequent revisions thereto.
Plan Assets Regulation means 29 C.F.R. Section 2510.3-101, et seq., as modified by Section 3(42) of ERISA.
Social Security Act means the Social Security Act of 1965 as set forth in Title 42 of the United States Code, as amended, and any successor statute thereto, as interpreted by the rules and regulations issued thereunder, in each case as in effect from time to time. References to sections of the Social Security Act shall be construed to refer to any successor sections.
1991 Act means the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991;
