Substitute Services means substitute services provided when some or all of the Passenger Services are unavailable to the public by a properly licensed carrier or a combination of such carriers to transport passengers between the Stations of the Railway approximately following the Lines of the Published Train Services;

Substitute Services means Services, including New Services, which displace existing Services. In any Supplier proposal for the provision of Substitute Services, Supplier shall specify the reductions, in terms of amounts for each category of Charges, which will be made to Health Net’s recurring Charges under this Schedule C if Supplier deploys the Substitute Services. If Health Net chooses to use Supplier to implement Supplier’s proposal for the Substitute Services, Supplier shall make the reductions stated in its proposal.

Examples of Substitute Services in a sentence

  • The Substitute Services dispatcher receives the request the day preceding the absence of the regular instructor, either by telephone prior to 7:00 p.m. or in writing.

  • Substitute Services will make a reasonable effort to honor requests made after 7:00 p.m.

  • A twenty-four (24) hour answering system shall be used by Substitute Services.

  • As soon as the necessity for absence is known, the member shall notify Substitute Services and, whenever possible, the principal or his/her designee.

  • The SPS shall rebate to each building/program/office a sum equivalent to a substitute teacher’s daily rate of pay for each occurrence during the school year that the SPS is unable to provide a substitute teacher to a building/program/office which has, following the normal process, notified the Substitute Services of their need for substitute services.

  • Teachers who wish to substitute on their non-scheduled workdays shall have the option to do so providing they inform Substitute Services by August 1 of each school year of their intent.

  • If CSC fails to provide Services in accordance with this Agreement due to the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event, all amounts payable to CSC hereunder shall be equitably adjusted in a manner such that Sears is not required to pay any amounts for Services that it is not receiving whether from CSC or from an alternate source at CSC’s expense pursuant to Section 21.1(c) (Substitute Services; Termination).
