Substantially Located definition

Substantially Located means where the primary business address of the taxicab permit holder is located and/or the jurisdiction where the largest share of the taxicab permit holder’s total number of prearranged and non-prearranged trips originate over the previous calendar year, as determined annually. Trip logs and/or other documentation shall be used to substantiate the jurisdiction where the largest share of taxicab permit holder’s total number of originating trips occur over the applicable time period.
Substantially Located means in reference to a city or county where either (i) a Taxicab Company maintains its primary business address; or (ii) the largest share of prearranged and non-prearranged trips originates, as defined in Government Code section 53075.5. For Taxicab Companies establishing a new operation after January 1, 2019, "Substantially Located" means the jurisdiction where a Taxicab Company has its primary business address for the first twelve (12) months of operation. A Taxicab Company or driver may be substantially located in more than one jurisdiction.
Substantially Located means a Taxicab Company meets either of the following:

  • Is Substantially Located within the jurisdiction of City and/or County.(ii) "Taximeter" shall mean any instrument, appliance, device, or machine by which the charge for hire of a passenger-carrying vehicle is calculated, either for distance traveled or time consumed, or a combination of both, and upon which such charge is indicated by figures.

  • MTS will not require such a taxicab to apply for a permit with MTS if the taxicab is not Substantially Located in City or County.

  • If a taxicab permit holder plans to change where it is Substantially Located, the permit holder shall notify the Chief Executive Officer and the new jurisdiction in which it will become Substantially Located within six (6) months or as soon as practicable prior to making that change.

  • All permits issued after April 1, 2015 shall be renewable annually upon evidence San Diego City Council Policy 500-02 requirements are being met, that if a taxicab permit holder they are Substantially Located within City or County, and payment of a regulatory fee in an amount and on a date to be determined by the Chief Executive Officer.

  • It shall be unlawful to drive a Taxicab that is determined as Substantially Located in the City without a valid, City-issued permit.

  • A Taxicab Operator who is also a Taxicab Driver that is not Substantially Located in the City shall possess applicable permits from the County or at least one (1) city within the County.

  • A Taxicab Driver that is Substantially Located in the City shall obtain a valid Taxicab Driver Permit issued by the City pursuant to this chapter and Chapter 5.08, Business License and Permit Requirements.

  • A Taxicab Driver that is Substantially Located in the City shall obtain a valid Taxicab Driver Permit issued by the City pursuant to this chapter.

  • A Taxicab Company that is not Substantially Located in the City shall possess a permit from the County or at least one city within the County.

  • A Taxicab Company who is also a Taxicab Driver that is not Substantially Located in the City shall possess applicable permits from the County or at least one city within the County.


More Definitions of Substantially Located

Substantially Located means a taxicab company that meets either of the following criteria: (1) the primary business address is located within the city; or (2) the total number of prearranged and nonprearranged trips that originate in the city account for the largest share of the taxicab company’s total number of trips within the county over the past calendar year as determined annually.
Substantially Located means either the jurisdiction where a company maintains its primary business address, or the jurisdiction where the largest share of prearranged and non-prearranged trips originates, as defined in Government Code section 53075.5. “Substantially located” shall also mean, for companies establishing a new operation after January 1, 2019, the jurisdiction where a company has its primary business address for the first twelve (12) months of operation. A company or driver may be substantially located in more than one (1) jurisdiction.

  • Project Location means the points or areas designated as such on Exhibit A and located on the ground by reference to points, stations, natural land features, improvements, or area boundary signs. STATE means the Oregon Department of Forestry, State Forester, or a duly Authorized Representative of the State Forester.

  • Co-location means the use of an existing tower or structure to support antennae for the provision of wireless services. A replacement tower that is constructed on the same site as an existing tower will be considered a co-location as long as the new tower is no taller than the old tower and that the old tower is removed in a reasonable short time frame after the new tower is constructed.

  • Worksite location means a construction site or other temporary worksite in this state at which the employer provides services for more than twenty days during the calendar year. "Worksite location" does not include the home of an employee.

  • Mobile home space means a parcel of land for rent which has been designed to accommodate a mobile home and provide the required sewer and utility connections.

  • Mobile home park means a parcel of land, or two or more

  • Substantially Complete “Substantially Completed” or “Substantial Completion” with regard to the Shell and Core Improvements shall mean the later to occur of (i) the substantial completion of construction of the Shell and Core Improvements, as certified by the Project Architect, pursuant to and evidenced by a fully executed AIA G704 form signed by Landlord, Non-TI Construction Manager and the Project Architect, with the exception of any Punch List Items (as defined below), and (ii) the issuance by the City of Cambridge of a certificate of occupancy for the Shell and Core (unless such certificate is not available due to requirements of the Tenant Improvements or improvements to other tenant spaces that in either case preclude issuance of a certificate of occupancy, in which case a certificate of occupancy shall not be a condition precedent to Substantial Completion, but Landlord shall obtain such a certificate within a reasonable time after such requirements have been satisfied). Punch List Items shall be diligently completed by Landlord within a reasonable time, provided that Punch List Items which arise due to a delayed delivery of such Punch List Item or material portion thereof shall be completed no later than ninety (90) days after Substantial Completion (except for items which cannot be completed until the Tenant Improvements are completed by Tenant, or for items affected by seasonal conditions, each of which shall be completed as soon as practicable). The term “Punch List Items” shall mean minor items of completion, correction or repair with respect to the Non-TI Project Improvements, which, by their nature, will not interfere with, or impair in any material respect, Tenant’s use or occupancy of the Project for the purposes contemplated under the Lease, and which will not delay Tenant’s commencement of business operations in the Premises. Following the Substantial Completion of the Shell and Core Improvements, Landlord shall use commercially reasonable efforts to complete any remaining Site Improvements that are not complete as of the date of Substantial Completion of the Shell and Core Improvements as soon as reasonably practicable, which for all seasonal components of the Site Improvements shall be prior to the end of the first full planting season that begins after the date of Substantial Completion of the Shell and Core Improvements.

  • Substantially means over 51% from American products.” Therefore, over 51 percent of the final processed product (by weight or volume) must consist of agricultural commodities that were grown domestically. Refer to 7 CFR 210.2 for full definitions. Any product processed by a winning vendor must contain over 51 percent of the product’s food component, by weight or volume, from U.S. origin. This definition of domestic product serves both the needs of schools and American agriculture. Products from Guam, American Samoa, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Northern Mariana Islands are considered domestic products under this provision as these products are from the territories of the U.S. The Offeror by signing the Offeror’s Proposal is certifying meals sold through the SFA’s nutrition program are prepared and processed in the U.S. and contains over 51 percent of its agricultural food component, by weight or volume, from the U.S. If requested by the SFA, state, or federal government, the Selected FSMC will supply evidence supporting compliance with the Buy American provision. Additional clarification regarding the Buy American Provision can be found in USDA Memo Compliance with and Enforcement of the Buy American Provision in the National School Lunch Program SP 38-2017 dated 06/30/17. In the event a domestic product is not available, the Selected FSMC must; Requests consideration from SFA (written documentation require) on the use of domestic alternative foods before approving an exception. Document the use of a non-domestic food exception when competition reveals the cost of domestic is significantly higher than non-domestic food. Document the use of a non-domestic alternative food due to the domestic food not produced or manufactured in sufficient and reasonable available quantities of a satisfactory quality.

  • Fixed location means a permanent place of doing business in this state, such as an office, warehouse, storefront, or similar location owned or controlled by an employer.

  • Worksite means the geographical area of the Project location where the Work is to be performed.

  • SITE / LOCATION means any Site where BHARAT PETROLEUM CORPORATION LTD. desires to receive materials any where in India as mentioned in RFQ.

  • Approved Location means (a) a storage terminal or facility located in the United States or Canada owned by the Borrower or a Subsidiary; or (b) other storage location located in the United States or Canada identified by the Borrower by notice to the Administrative Agent for which, if requested by the Administrative Agent, the Borrower has used commercially reasonable efforts to cause the owner, operator or landlord thereof to execute and deliver, a waiver of lien, subordination agreement or similar agreement in form and substance reasonably acceptable to the Administrative Agent with respect to any inventories of Petroleum Products stored at such terminal or facility.
