Subsistence purposes definition

Subsistence purposes means fish or game taken by qualified Indian tribal members of the Klamath River Indian Tribes for personal consumption by the tribal members or their immediate families.
Subsistence purposes means the customary and traditional uses by Inuit communities of seal products for direct personal or family consumption as food, shelter, fuel, clothing, tools; for the making and selling of handicraft articles out of non-edible seal by-products taken for personal or family consumption; and for exchange of seals or their parts, if the exchange is of a limited and commercial nature, or sharing for personal or family consumption.

  • Subsistence means such subsistence as is reasonable in the circumstances of the employment in question, and does not include accommodation; and

  • subsistence allowance means an allowance which an employment zone contractor has agreed to pay to a person who is participating in an employment zone programme;

  • Legitimate Purposes means sharing of UPSI in the ordinary course of business by an Insider with the following, provided that such sharing has not been carried out to evade or circumvent the prohibitions of these regulations:

  • Permitted Purposes means the purposes that are more fully described in clause 2 of these Privacy Terms and Conditions;

  • Production Purposes means using the Software (a) in a production environment, (b) generally using live data and/or applications for a purpose other than Development Purposes, (c) for multi-user prototyping, quality assurance and testing and/or (d) for backup instances.
